Carole Beswick
Carole Beswick has been a Redlands resident for the past 43 years. She currently serves as the President/CEO of Inland Action, a post she has held for the past three years.
Carole is a busy woman. She is currently a Trustee of the University of Redlands and was a director and founder of 1st Centennial Bank. She is also a director and founder of the Redlands bicycle Classic, the oldest and largest professional bicycle race in the United States. Carole is currently Chair of the Santa Ana Regional Water Quality Control Board and is a past member of the Redlands City Council and served as the city’s Mayor from 1983-1991. She is a current member and past president of the Rotary Club of Redlands and a former member and past president of the Assistance League of Redlands among many other local and regional organizations.
Among the many awards she has received, Carole was named Woman of Distinction for the 63rd Assembly District in 2007, received the University of Redlands Centennial Award in 2006, was names Redlands Woman of the Year in 1994 and Redlands Citizen of the Year by Inland Empire Magazine in 1985.
In her spare time – if there is any – Carole likes to ski, golf, read, walk, do Pilates and is a music lover.
“The Redlands Symphony is one of Redlands’ treasures and deserves whatever support I can offer,” Carole says about her stint as one of the dancing “stars” at this year’s Silver Anniversary Gala, “To have a chance to combine my love of music (and now dancing) with something that’s fun and will benefit the symphony is great.”
