A TREASURE TROVE OF VINTAGE ITEMS TO BE OFFERED FOR SALE AT THE SHABBY CHIC BOUTIQUE – A SALE BENEFITING REDLANDS SYMPHONY
REDLANDS, CA – The Friends of Redlands Symphony (FORS) are organizing a high-end sale of gently-used vintage items and collectibles that will be offered at the Shabby Chic Boutique, on Saturday, November 7, 2015, from 8 AM to 1 PM at the future home of the Redlands Historical Museum (the old Daily Facts Building) located at 700 Brookside Ave. in Redlands. All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting local music programs provided by the Redlands Symphony.
“This is an opportunity for all of us to do some good with that pile of things we don’t know what to do with,” said Marilyn Solter, a symphony board member and Chair of FORS. “I’ve already begun to clean out my closets and my garage, and I can’t wait to turn my ‘trash’ into ‘treasure’ for the Redlands Symphony and our community’s children who benefit from our music education programs.”
The group is looking for small furniture, household goods, kitchenware, linens, china, crystal, silver, tableware, vases, jewelry, frames, depression glass, wall art, lamps, glassware, chandeliers, sconces, baskets, musical instruments and vinyl records. Clothing and shoes will not be accepted.
Donations will be accepted beginning September 1st. People with things to donate can call the Redlands Symphony office at (909) 748-8018 to make a drop-off appointment.
The Redlands Symphony is an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. The real value of donated items can be used as a tax deduction to the extent allowed by law.
