Ransom Wilson and Francois Dumont in Recital
Flutist Ransom Wilson and pianist François Dumont present an exclusive live performance of music from their latest album, featuring works by noted French composers.

We Love Ransom Wilson.
Ransom Wilson has been the Music Director & Conductor of the Redlands Symphony since 2016. Before taking the podium here in Redlands, he had been a respected conductor at orchestras around the world, including a regular conductor at New York City Opera and the Metropolitan Opera.

But did you know that conducting is Act 2 of Maestro Wilson’s incredible career? Prior to taking up the baton, he was recognized as one of the world’s greatest living flutists, releasing over two dozen albums and picking up three Grammy nominations along the way!
Ransom’s latest album is a collection of French music for flute and piano, recorded with pianist François Dumont. In the Age of Debussy features music by Claude Debussy, Gabriel Fauré, Lili Boulanger, Paul Dukas, and André Caplet.

And Redlands audiences are getting an exclusive private performance!
On June 12, Ransom Wilson will be picking up his flute and joining François Dumont for a one-night-only recital here in Redlands, featuring music from this acclaimed new album.
Our Season 21–22 is made possible through the generosity of music lovers just like you. Please consider helping us continue to bring you great content, including concerts and more, by making a donation to the Redlands Symphony.
