Notes

While there are all sorts of traditions and venues for carol singing in the United States, an evening of swinging arrangements is perhaps the most distinctly American version of this Christmas ritual.

Our Annual Christmas Concert Returns – Live on Stage

Our Holiday Concert this year features a jazzy collection of traditional classics, popular favorites — and a few surprises you'll love.

Instead of the usual traditional arrangements of your holiday favorites, Redlands Symphony is doing things differently.

Enjoy Swingin' Carols and Standards

We have put together a program of beloved Christmas songs but in 1940s big band swing arrangements. All your favorites are here, like Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire, White Christmas, Sleigh Ride, Let It Snow, and many, many more.

The swing arrangements are fantastic, including classics by Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller, and Count Basie.

Meet Jazz Legends & Rising Stars

To add even more excitement, we are joined by award-winning "Jazz at Lincoln Center" vocalist Alexis Morrast.

The whole evening will be introduced and led by our own local jazz legend, Marshall Hawkins.

We hope you'll join us for a swinging evening on December 11th at Memorial Chapel.
