Debbie Prutsman
Vocalist
Debbie is beyond excited to perform again with the Redlands Symphony Orchestra. She last appeared here at our 2018 Holiday Concert as the narrator for A Christmas Carol: The Concert. She is a favorite across the Southern California musical theatre circuit, performing from San Jose to Los Angeles, from Cabrillo to San Diego. She’s been seen as Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd, Dolly Levi in Hello Dolly, Ursula in The Little Mermaid, Mother Superior in Sister Act, and Grizabella in Cats at venues that include Musical Theatre West, Moonlight Amphitheater, Cabrillo Musical Theater, San Diego Musical Theater, Sound Stage Live, Candlelight Pavilion, Performance Riverside, and Broadway at the Gardens. She’s performed with legends like Carol Burnett and John Raitt, but has found equal joy conducting choirs at Citrus Valley High School, Beattie Middle School, and Crafton Elementary. Most recently, Debbie founded The Clarion Kids, a Community Children’s Choir sponsored by Redlands First Congregational Church. She is mom to Kirklyn, a So Cal choreographer and wig designer, and Brody, a newly graduated Sheriff and father of baby Jack! She remains in awe of the opportunities and joy that surround her and dedicates her performance to her little sister, Becka, who now has the best seat in the house.
