Elaine Brubacher

Elaine has lived in Redlands for 42 years. She was a biology professor at the University of Redlands for 28 years. She was named Professor Emeritus 10 years ago.
Elaine and her late husband, Paul, had three children together. Elaine is now the proud grandmother of five.
She is a busy woman: Elaine sings with the Inland Master Chorale, serves as a Heritage Guide and Adult Literacy Tutor at Smiley Public Library and sits on the board of the Friends of Prospect Park.
“I love the Redlands Symphony, and I want to help them anyway I can,” Elaine says. “I’m
a little frightened to ask for money (my late husband, Paul, was very good at it!).”
