Lynn Whitmer (you may know her as R. Lynn Whitmer) has lived in Redlands since 1978. Lynn is married to her high school sweetheart, Gary (a native Redlander), and they have two grown children.
Lynn is quite the busy lady. She is a fulltime realtor at Century 21 Lois Lauer Realty, where she partners with well-known symphony supporter Shirley Harry. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Redlands, the Redlands Community Hospital Foundation, Redlands Festival of Arts, Redlands Community Foundation, PEO Chapter PK, the Redlands Educational partnership Foundation, and the Redlands Community Hospital Board of Directors.
“I’m looking forward to my turn in Dancing with the Stars for the Redlands Symphony Gala,” says Lynn. “I think it will be a fun way to earn money to support this extraordinary organization.”
Lynn loves sunsets, hiking, music, and photography. She enjoys fine wine and great food. “I will throw a dinner party together at a drop of a hat,” Lynn explains. “I love to entertain.”
“I look forward to possibly discovering my inner dancer through this experience,” says Lynn. “One of my sisters is a Broadway dancer. Perhaps I can channel her talent when I take the dance floor at the Gala.”
