
Marsha Gebara

“I have been a passionate advocate for the performing arts in Redlands for over 35 years,” explains Marsha Gebara. “I am especially looking forward to raising money for the Redlands Symphony and their OrKIDstra music education program.”
Marsha is well-known to local arts lovers. She has played a major leadership role with the Redlands Community Music Association, serving as president of the Associates and the board, as well as program director for the organization’s annual season.
She is the widow of James Gebara; the proud stepmother to Andrew and James Gebara; and grandmother to Andrew James Gebara, Joshua David Gebara, and Jamie Gebara Frost.
Marsha’s special interests include music, travel and languages. She has visited over 50 countries and US territories and speaks English, Spanish, and Italian. Her careers have included teaching social work and flying for Pan American World Airways. Marsha is currently a licensed California real estate broker.
Marsha was 2001 Redlands Woman of the Year and the 2000 University of Redlands Woman of Distinction. She has also served as a board member of the Redlands Chamber of Commerce and the Redlands Community Foundation. She is active in numerous other local organizations.
“This will be a totally new experience for me,” notes Marsha. “I’m most concerned about stepping on my partner’s toes!”
