Renee Rojanaro

Dancer

“Twenty-seven years ago, I was hired to sing a a local Redlands restaurant called Vesuvio’s,” Renee Rojanaro recalls as she talks about making Redlands her home. “I thought the bartender was cute, the small town delightful and the people unforgettable. So, I made Redlands my home.” Renee made the bartender her husband (Jeff), and together they have two children.

Renee owns a small entertainment business and also works as a music educator for the Corona Norco Unified School District. She has two degrees from the University of Redlands: one in music and an advanced degree in educational administration. Renee is also the director of two music programs at Valley Preparatory School in Redlands.

“As soon as I learned about how the Redlands Symphony provides music education for kids, I said count me in,” says Renee.

When Renee isn’t performing, or working, she enjoys short getaways with her family, spa days, movies and dining out.

“Anyone who knows me will tell you that I am always up for a challenge,” says Renee, “So here I am, putting on my dancing shoes and dancing for a worthy cause. I’m looking forward to having a blast!”
