Making Music a Part of
Growing Up in Redlands

Since 1998, the Redlands Symphony's flagship education program for children, OrKIDstra, has made music a part of growing up in Redlands and the surrounding communities for nearly 85,000 4th and 5th graders.

A field trip-style concert, OrKIDstra concerts bring 4th and 5th grade students in Redlands Unified, Yucaipa-Calimesa Joint Unified, and surrounding districts to the Memorial Chapel for specially curated concerts. These concerts explore a range of topics from how orchestras sound to specific instruments in the orchestra, and more.

OrKIDstra is entirely free-of-charge for partnering school districts, charter schools, private schools, parochial schools, and homeschooling groups. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, transportation costs are underwritten so no school is turned away because of the cost of bussing.

For more information on our OrKIDstra program, email us at symphony@redlandssymphony.com or call our office at 909-587-5565

OrKIDstra 2024 is October 10th and October 17th! Email us to sign up!
