Our musicians are the heartbeat of music in Redlands. Made up of the finest musicians from across Southern California, the musicians in our orchestra bring the highest quality artistry to our stages throughout the year. The music the make can soothe broken hearts, spark joy and imagination, and transport you to worlds unheard of.
By sponsoring a musician, you ensure the greatest musicians in SoCal continue to provide our community with their uniquely perfected talents. There are two ways to make your sponsorship count:
By endowing a chair, you are making a long-term commitment to the orchestra through financially supporting a player by way of an Endowment Gift. Your Endowed Chair gift is placed in the Symphony'e Endowment, ensuring your support grows over time, providing stability for the orchestra by supporting a musician's tenure.
Endowed chairs are $250,000 for the Concertmaster; $100,000 for Associate Concertmaster and Principals; $75,000 for Assistant Principals; and $50,000 for Section Musicians. Sponsoring a musician for one season provides the financial support necessary to offset the cost of wages and benefits. As a fully professional orchestra, we support our musicians by not only paying them competitve wages for rehearsals and concerts, but we are proud to also support contributions to the American Federation of Musicians Pension Fund to support retirement earning as well as contribute to payments for co-operative healthcare.
Sponsorship levels are in effect for one season, from July to June, regardless of when the sponsorship is made. To sponsor a musician, we ask for an annual commitment of:
$5,000 for the Concertmaster
$2,500 for the Associate Concertmaster and Principal Musicians
$1,000 for the Assistant Principal Strings
$500 for Section Musicians
